About Dmitry

Building cloud platforms from deep technical experience

Dmitry is the founder of Cloudification and an experienced cloud and DevOps specialist working with open-source infrastructure technologies since 2009.

Throughout his career, he has worked as an OpenStack engineer, cloud consultant, and senior DevOps consultant for companies including SAP and HERE Technologies. His experience covers the full cloud infrastructure lifecycle — from architecture and software development to automation, security, high availability, and platform operations.

At Cloudification, Dmitry combines hands-on technical expertise with strategic leadership. He helps organisations modernise their infrastructure, reduce vendor dependency, and build reliable cloud platforms based on Kubernetes, OpenStack, Linux, and other cloud-native technologies.

Approach

Dmitry approaches cloud infrastructure as both a technical and business challenge. He focuses on understanding the organisation’s requirements first and then selecting the architecture, technologies, and automation practices that best support them.

He believes that complex infrastructure should remain understandable, maintainable, and aligned with real operational goals. His work combines open-source technologies, cloud-native principles, automation, security, and long-term platform reliability.
